South India tour package covers 10 days tour on the following places visiting like Chennai, Bangalore, Tirupathi, Mysore, Cochin, Alleppey, Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Tanjore, Pondicherry and return to Chennai.
Day 1: Chennai- Kanchipuram- vellore- Tirupathi(80kms,2hrs- 60kms,1.30hrs- 120kms, 2.30hrs)Pick up from Chennai Air Port and proceeding to kanchipuram, the silk city,visiting shiva Vishnu temple and drive to vellore,the golden temple & then to Tirupathi.Overnight at Tirupathi.
Day 2: Tirupathi- Bangalore (250kms, 5hrs) Morning afterbreakfast visit the thirumala venkatesa perumal temple and proceed to Bangalore. Free for shopping at evening and night halt at Bangalore.
Day 3: Bangalore – Mysore After breakfast visit the iskcon temple and proceed to Mysore,visit chamundeeswari temple, The mysore palace and the famous Brindavan garden expended over 150 acres. The musical fountain and light show adds attraction to the garden. Then return back to the hotel and over night stay at Mysore.
Day 4: Mysore- Cochin (400kms, 8hrs) After breakfast proceeding to Cochin, visit Chotanikarai bagawathy amman temple and night stay at Cochin.
Day 5: Cochin- Allapey (70kms, 1.30hrs) Alleppey House Boat . By noon check in at the house boat in Alleppey for a 20 hour House boating through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will witness a full range of lifes and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. Overnight in the house boat. House boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen ,dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters.
Day 6: Allapey- Kanyakumari (280kms, 6hrs) via TrivandrumMorning after breakfast proceed to Trivandrum,padmanaba swamy temple and then to Kanyakumari- the southern tip of Indian sun continent. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial and witness the majestic sunset. Overnight at Kanyakumari.
Day 7: Kanyakumari-Rameswaram- Madurai (260kms,5.30hrs- 170kms,2.30hrs)After enjoying the sunrise, proceed to Rameswaram which is considered as a sacred place for Hindus. Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple & 22Theerthas, and then to Madurai,the Athens of the East. Overnight stay at Madurai.
Day 8: MaduraiAfter breakfast book for Annathanam, then to Thiruparankundram and then back to Meenakshi amman temple at noon for Annathanam. Evening at Leisure/ Shopping/ Azagar temple(Choice of your own). Night halt at Madurai.
Day 9: Madurai- Trichy- Tanjore (170kms,3hrs- 60kms,1hr)Morning after breakfast proceed to Tanjavur. En- route visit Sri Rangam: which is known for its Vaishnavite temple. The temple has 21 magnificent towers surrounded. Visit includes Sri Brahadeeswara Temple. Then visit Tanjore Periya koil, ArtGallery & Over night stay at Tanjore.
Day 10: Tanjore- Vaideeswaran koil- Chidambaram- Pondicherry (110kms,2hrs- 70kms,1.30hrs- 70kms,1.30hrs)After breakfast proceeding to Vaideeswarar temple, famous for Nadi josium (Olai chuvadi Reading) via Suriyanaar temple at kanjanoor. Then visit keezperumpallam, the kaethu Temple and drive to Chidambaram, Natarajar temple and then to Pondicherry. Night halt at Pondicherry.
Day 11: PondicherryAfter break fast cover former French settlements, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, Pondicherry museum etc., and evening return back to hotel and overnight halt at hotel.
Day 12: Pondicherry- Mahabalipuram- Chennai (160kms,3hrs)After break fast proceed to Chennai, via – mahabalipuram, Visiting the Shore Temple built in the shape of a Pyramid. Then visit Arjuna’s Penance, a carving done in the face of a huge rock. Evening at leisure In Chennai Marina beach, and night halt at Chennai.
Day 13: ChennaiAfter breakfast proceed to AVM Studio, a visit to cinema shooting, free for shopping in the evening and night halt at Chennai hotel.
Day 14: ChennaiAfter breakfast proceed to visit kapaleeswarar temple, Museum, Art Gallery, Valluvar kottam and drop at Air port by evening
