On 8 September 2026, the flag-off for "FLY & RIDE: Season 2 – Malaysia Coastal Expedition 2026" took place at Trinidad Suites, Iskandar Puteri, Johor. The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Jeffri bin Munir, Chief Operating Officer of Majestic Johor Tourism Sdn. Bhd.
The program involves 40 local and international participants, with the first day’s ride covering a distance of approximately 110 km from Johor Bahru to Batu Pahat, before continuing the journey to Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, and Kuala Lumpur.
Selecting Johor as the starting point offers an opportunity to showcase the state as a destination for sports tourism and cycling, while also introducing Johor’s beauty, culture, cuisine, and hospitality to international participants.
The event is supported by Tourism Malaysia and aligns with the "Visit Malaysia 2026" campaign, thereby strengthening the promotion of Johor and Malaysia as world-class sports tourism destinations.

On 1 September 2026, Tourism Malaysia Chennai, led by Director Mr. Hishamuddin Mustafa, welcomed Madam Hasnida Mohamad Hashim for her induction following her new assignment in Chennai.

The session covered key areas including the South India & Sri Lanka markets, KPIs, upcoming programmes, airline connectivity, promotional activities, office operations, and team responsibilities.

Madam Hasnida also reported for duty at the Consulate General of Malaysia, Chennai, and met with Consul General Mr. K. Saravana Kumar.
