Event: One Borneo Roadshow by State Tourism Board Sabah, Sarawak & Royal Brunei Airlines
Date: 15 September 2025
Venue: Ramada by Wyndham, Egmore, Chennai

Tourism Malaysia Chennai, led by Director Mr. Hishamuddin Mustafa, extended its support to the One Borneo Roadshow organized by Royal Brunei Airlines to promote Sabah and Sarawak tourism. The event brought together representatives from the Sabah and Sarawak State Tourism Boards and Malaysian DMCs, and Hotels who showcased their destinations’ stunning attractions, adventure experiences, nature trails, and premium hotel stays to the Chennai travel trade.

Royal Brunei Airlines highlighted its three weekly flights from Chennai and daily connectivity to Sabah and Sarawak, enhancing travel accessibility for Indian tourists to these regions.

The roadshow witnessed active participation from members of TAFI and TAAI, along with several leading travel agents from Chennai.

Representing Tourism Malaysia Chennai, Mr. Syed Anwar, Marketing Officer, and Ms. Naushin Kiran, Assistant Marketing Officer, attended the event, strengthening collaborations and driving tourism initiatives for Malaysia.

Tourism Malaysia Chennai proudly partnered with PCEB and IndiGo Airlines for the successful 6-city roadshow across, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Pondicherry and Chennai to promote Penang as a top MICE and Leisure destination from South India.
