Surrounded by evergreen mountains this town occupies the valley and stretches down to the famous river 'Tuitha'. Its is a crossroad 'Lamka' and two landmarked and important highway Teddim Road and Tipaimukh Road started at 0 Km which is at the Police Station of Lamka town. The town is expanding and now cover few villages like Zehang Lamka - Lower Lamka, Mual Veng, New Lamka, Chiengkonpang, Phailen

, Bungmual, Pearson, Ngathal, Hebron Veng, Rengkai, Sielmat, Tuibuang are now connected making it a larger Lamka. The people spoke varied dialects and can mostly understand each other without having to speak the other language. Its bright, its colorful and each and every nook of the town has a steeple of a Church to show.
