Hidden in the Himalayas, Bhavishya Badri is revered as the future seat of Lord Badrinath.

Rooted in local tradition and associated with Adi Shankaracharya, it is believed that if access to the Badrinath Temple ceases in the future, Lord Vishnu will be worshipped here.
