2020 was a year of unexpected change for the world. We cancelled two trips, one to Bali and one to India, because of the global pandemic. The focus of our lives dramatically shifted as we worked to navigate restrictions which sequestered us for our own safety. The shift was path altering for both of us. With a long stewing period, we made the sad decision to end Two Artists Travel for now. We thank all of you who traveled with us, who supported us with encouragement and interest, who lived vicariously through our trips. And Two Artists Travel bids you safe travels.
You can continue to connect with Sue at Susan Stover Art and Amanda at Amanda Jolley, Artist for studio and workshop news.

Dear friends and fellow travelers,

Two Artists Travel is taking a pause on all scheduled trips and further plans. We feel that traveling globally will not be safe until a vaccine for COVID-19 is created. Your wellbeing is the most important thing to us. With so many unknowns about the longevity of the current state, we are not willing to risk the health of anyone or potentially spread the novel coronavirus.
Along with our pause on plans, we have decided to take a pause on social media to focus solely on our art practice during our sequestered time. Please follow along with us at Susan Stover Art and Amanda Jolley, Artist if you havenโ€™t already.

With much love and appreciation,
Sue and Amanda

No matter one's religion, belief system, or lack thereof, there is something gorgeous about a 16th century Gothic church. This is an interior look at Eglise Saint-Merry in Paris, France. The church was built between 1500-1550.

Nothing like a big vessel full of living indigo. We had the opportunity to block print and indigo dye our own scarves on our last group trip to Gujarat, India. Did you know really indigo dye on fabric is antibacterial, flame resistant and repels odor and dirt?

The pandemic has seemingly caused momentum to halt. Hoping you all are finding what you need during this strange time whether it be forward movement, a time to rest, digging deep, calming anxiety, experiencing grief, or reflection on what may be next.

A doorway often symbolizes the transition from one place to another. With social distancing, it may feel the doors to our homes are being neglected, but this time could be one in which a greater door is opening.
