Capital Hall, also known as the Darjeeling Municipality Building, is a historic landmark situated in the heart of Darjeeling, West Bengal. Established in 1921 by Lord Ronaldshay, the then Governor of Bengal, this building has been a central hub for administrative and cultural activities in the region.
Architectural Significance: The building is renowned for its impressive 100-foot-high clock tower, which has been an iconic feature of Darjeeling's skyline. The clock, manufactured by G.T. Gent and Company of the United Kingdom, was an integral part of the town's daily life, with its chimes marking the passage of time for residents.

Recognizing its historical and cultural value, the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration initiated restoration projects to revive its former glory.
