I snuggled into my sleeping bag after a long 8 hours of hiking with my rucksack. The comfort of my tent, miles away from my home, somehow still felt like home. I'm all snug and ready to sleep, and I turn my headtorch off. To my amazement, I still can see my surroundings, illuminated in some kind of brightness. I open my tent to see the milky way staring right back at me, shooting stars falling almost over my head, the sound of the wind moving from ear to ear, and the mountain ranges shining in white as if someone had just sprinkled snow on them.. and that's when I knew..that now's not the time to sleep, but the time to read a book and take in my surroundings
