About RAJAJI NATIONAL PARK
Rajaji National Park is a national park and tiger reserve in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, that encompasses the Shivaliks, near the foothills of the Himalayas. It covers 820 km2 (320 sq mi) and includes three districts of Uttarakhand—Haridwar, Dehradun and Pauri Garhwal. In 1983, three wildlife sanctuaries in the area (namely, Chilla, Motichur and Rajaji) were merged into one.
As of January 2024, the number of leopards in Rajaji National Park was estimated to be around 200, with 30 of them frequently spotted. However, a 2022 report estimated the leopard population of the landscape to be 349.
About TOUR
This is not an ordinary safari tour, this will be your's private safari with our Forest experts, off route from ordinary safari route. We will guarantee for 2-3 leopards spotting in each safari. Your 1st Safari will be in evening and 2nd one is morning.
For 01 Night you will be staying in the Guest House of Forest Department near the Forest, far from the daily crowd of your city.
Natural Air, Birds, Peacocks, Deer in your surroundings. Living in nature gives a different vibes.
What you can spot during Safari?
Besides tiger, leopard, Himalayan Black bear, sloth bear, Civet, Marten, Jackal, Hyena etc, it is estimated that there are more than 450 Asian elephants in the park.
How to Reach
For this tour you have to reach Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, from where this forest range is approx. 25 km from the city.
