🌸 Valley of Flowers Trek Swipe ⬅️ for more!
The Valley of Flowers Trek is one of India’s most scenic and enchanting high-altitude treks, located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, within the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
This 6–7 day trek takes you through lush meadows, dense forests, gushing rivers, and ultimately to a breathtaking alpine valley blanketed with hundreds of species of wildflowers. The valley blooms between July and early September, after the monsoon rains awaken the flora.
Along the trail, trekkers also pass Hemkund Sahib, a revered Sikh pilgrimage site at 14,100 ft, surrounded by glacial lakes and snow-covered peaks.
