Itinerary for Char Dham Yatra :
Day 01 : Arrival Haridwar - Barkot (213 Kms. 07 hrs)
In the morning, drive to Barkot via Mussoorie and en route visit Kempty fall. On reaching Barkot, check in to the Hotel.
Day 02 : Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (42 Kms Drive / 6 Kms trek.)
In the morning, start for Janki Chatti Via Hanuman Chatti & Fool Chatti. Start a Trek of 06 kms for Yamunotri from Janki Chatti. Start the pilrimage of Yamunotri by a holy dip in Garam Kund and after the pooja an ddarshan of Shree Yamunotri Ji, start trekking back to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot.
Hanuman Chatti : It is the confluence of Yamuna River and Hanuman Ganga.
Yamunotri Temple : It is teh temple devoted to Goddess Yamuna built in 19th century by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur.
Surya Kund : It is the most important and sacred of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows into numerous pools.
Divya Shila : A rock pillar which is customary to worship before entering the Yamunotri Temple.
Day 03 : Barkot - Uttarkashi (Drive 82 Kms, 04 hrs)
In the morning, drive to Uttarkashi and enroute visit Shri Prakateshwar Cave which is dedicated to Lord Shiva To reach the cave, there is 100 Meters trek from Road. On arrival to Uttarkashi, check in to the hotel and in the evening visit Shree Kashi Vishwnath Ji Temple and Shakti Temple.
Uttarkashi : It is situated at the bank of river Bhagirathi. The temple of Lord Vishwanath is also located here. The other important temples situated here are Bhairav, Ekadash Rudra, Gyaneshwar and Goddess Kuteti Devi.
Day 04 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 Kms. per way)
In the morning, drive to Gangotri and enroute take a holy dip in Garam Kund at Gangnali. On arrival to Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges. After performing Pooja and Darshan, drive back to Uttarkashi.
Day 05 : Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (215 Kms. Drive 09 - 10 Hrs)
In the morning, drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgaon and en route visit Tehri Dam. On arrival to Guptakashi, check in to the Hotel and in the evening visit Shree Kashi Vishwnath Temple and Ardh Narishwar Temple.
Day 06 : Guptakashi - Kedarnath (32 Kms Drive, 14 Kms. Treks)
In the morning drive to Gaurikund which is 32 Kms from Guptkashi and en route visit sonprayag, the Confluence of Son Ganga and Mandakini river. Take a Holi dip in Gaurikund and start 14 Kms trek towards Shree Kedarnath Ji. On arrival check in to the hotel. Perform Pooja and also Darshan at Shri Kedarnathji and also visit Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple.
Day 07 : Kedarnath - Pipalkoti (14 Kms trek 145 kms Drive)
In the morning, trek down to Gaurikund and drive towards Pipalkoti. On arrival Pipalkoti, check in to the hotel.
Day 08 : Pipalkoti - Badrinath (72 kms)
In the morning, drive to Shree Badrinath Ji and en-route visit Adi Sankarachara Samadhi, Narsingh Mandir and Hathi Parwat from Joshimath. On arrival to Badrinath, check in to the hotel. Take a holy Dip in Narad Kund of Shree Badrivishal Ji. Also visit Ganesh Temple, Byas Gufa, Shree Saraswati Temple, Saraswati River and Keshavpryag. In the evening, attend Sri Badrinath Ji Arti at the Temple.
Tapt Kund : It is a natural thermal spring on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to take bath before entering the Badrinath temple.
Narad Kund : It is a recess in the river near Tapt Kund forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered.
Mata Murty Temple : This temple is devoted to the mother of Sri Badrinathji. Other important temples here are Urvashi Temple, Sesh Netra Temple and Charanpaduka.
Mana Village : This village is the last Indian village before Tibet inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe.
Bhim Pul : It is a massive rock forming a natural bridge over the roaring Saraswati river and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim.
Vyas Gufa (cave) : It is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.
Day 09 : Badrinath - Rudrapryag (155 Kms)
After the morning Pooja and Darshan at the Temple (04:00 A.M. to 07:00 A.M), drive to Rudraprayag and en-route visit Vishnu Prayag, Nandprayag and Karanpryag. On arrival to Rudraprayag, check in to the hotel.
Rudraprayag : It is the confluence of river river Alaknanda and Mandakini.
Temples : Koteshwar Temple (3 Kms), Rudranath and Chamunda Devi.
Day 10 : Rudrapryag - Haridwar (135 Kms 7 hrs)
In the morning, drive to Haridwar and en-route visit Devprayag. After visiting Devpryag drive towards Haridwar via Rishikesh where you will be dropped at Railway station.
