Valley of Flowers itinerary
“फूलों की घाटी” (Valley of Flowers) A 7-day itinerary will allow for a more relaxed and immersive experience in the Valley of Flowers. Here’s a suggested itinerary:
Day 1: Dehradun to Joshimath: Begin your journey from Dehradun to Joshimath. Take breaks and enjoy the scenic drive.
Check into a hotel in Joshimath, rest, and prepare for the trek.
Day 2: Joshimath to Govindghat and Ghangaria: Drive to Govindghat (approximately 1 hour from Joshimath).
Begin the trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria (14 km, 6-8 hours).
Enjoy the picturesque landscapes along the way.
Stay overnight in Ghangaria.
Day 3: Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers: Early morning trek to the Valley of Flowers.
Spend the day exploring the valley and taking in the stunning views.
Return to Ghangaria in the evening and stay overnight.
Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib: Trek to Hemkund Sahib (6 km, 4-6 hours).
Explore Hemkund Sahib and the surrounding area.
Return to Ghangaria and stay overnight.
Day 5: Ghangaria (Rest Day or Explore):Use this day as a rest day or explore the nearby areas.
Optionally, you can visit the Hemkund Lake or take short walks around Ghangaria.
Day 6: Ghangaria to Govindghat: Trek back to Govindghat.
Spend the afternoon exploring Govindghat or relaxing.
Stay overnight in Govindghat.
Day 7: Govindghat to Dehradun: Drive back to Dehradun.
If time permits, visit Devprayag on the way.
Arrive in Dehradun, concluding your Valley of Flowers trip.
