चंद्रयान-3 की लॉन्चिंग के दौरान इसके काउंटडाउन को आवाज देने वाली इसरो साइंटिस्ट एन वलारमथी का निधन हो गया है. उनकी मौत की वजह कार्डियक अरेस्ट है. वलारमथी ने रविवार को आखिरी सांस ली. वलारमथी की उम्र 50 साल से अधिक थी और वो कुछ दिनों से बीमार थीं. उन्हें चेन्नई के एक निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था.

The Luna-25, the first Russian lunar lander in nearly 50 years, wasn't able to enter its scheduled pre-landing orbit of the moon.

The robotic spacecraft was due to enter the orbit on Saturday, but due to an emergency situation the maneuver was unsuccessful, according to a statement from the Russian space corporation Roscosmos. The team is analyzing the situation, it said, without giving further details.

Russia launched the craft last week, joining a race with NASA and other space agencies. It's scheduled to land on the moon's south pole on Aug. 21, Roscosmos said earlier. It's not immediately clear if the plan still stands.

The lunar south pole is a highly coveted target among space-faring nations, including the US and China. India's Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft is orbiting the moon and will likely attempt a landing near the pole this week.

India successfully launched chandrayaan 3 Exciting News!

Chandrayaan-3, the highly anticipated follow-on mission to Chandrayaan-2, has successfully launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota today, on Friday, July 14!

Chandrayaan-3 aims to showcase India's remarkable

capabilities in safe lunar landing and roving on the lunar

surface. This incredible mission consists of both a Lander

and Rover configuration, which will be carried by the

LVM3 propulsion module until it reaches the 100 km lunar

orbit.

Not only that, but the propulsion module also carries a remarkable payload called Spectro-polarimetry of Habitable Planet Earth (SHAPE). With SHAPE on board, the mission will study and analyze the spectral and polarimetric measurements of our very own planet Earth, all the way from the lunar orbit!

ISRO's dedication to space exploration is truly commendable, and Chandrayaan-3 is yet another testament to India's relentless pursuit of scientific excellence. This mission will undoubtedly contribute significantly to our understanding of the Moon and our own home planet.
