These are some of the most common questions we get at Jugni. And we understand where they come from. You want to know if you’ll fit in, whether there will be women around your age, and whether you’ll be comfortable with the group.

But here’s what we’ve seen over the years: women of different ages come together on a Jugni trip and, very quickly, the number on their birth certificate stops mattering.

If I say I’m broke and you see me travelling, please understand the difference.

I’m not broke. I’m just broke for everything except travel.

Some people save for a new phone.
Some save for a car.
Some save for shopping.
And some of us look at our savings and think, “Okay, where can I go next?”

Because travel money is a different category altogether. It’s the money you plan for, save for, look forward to and absolutely refuse to touch for anything else.

So yes, I might say “I have no money” and then be booking a flight the very next day.

It’s not bad financial planning. It’s called having priorities.

We’re taught to be careful, to share our location, to think twice before taking an unfamiliar road. And honestly, some of that caution is necessary.

But fear shouldn’t decide how much of the world we get to see 🌍

My toxic trait is thinking every long weekend deserves a trip.

Long weekend? Trip.
Friday off? Trip.
Monday off? Trip.
Two holidays together? Obviously, trip.
And if there’s no holiday… well, we can always find a reason.

Because why spend a long weekend at home when you could be somewhere new, eating good food, taking too many pictures and coming back with a completely unnecessary amount of travel stories?

At this point, my calendar doesn’t have holidays. It has potential trips.

Travel groups for singles hit differently when you join a women-only trip. 😂✈️

You arrive as a solo female traveller, meet a bunch of women you’ve never travelled with before… and within a few days, the tiny lies begin. 😂

“I’m in the lift.”
— She is still finding her phone.

“I’m ready, just coming down.”
— She hasn’t decided what to wear yet.

“I’m not hungry.”
— Eats 40% of your food.

“Don’t wait for me, I’ll catch up.”
— Everyone waits. 😭

“I’m not shopping today.”
— Returns with three bags. “These are just small things.”

“I don’t drink.”
— “Okay… just one.” 🍻

17 minutes later: “One more… but take it vertically also.” 📸😂

This is the part of solo travel with a group nobody puts in the itinerary.
