💺✈️ Want a better seat? Before boarding, check the seat map again and politely ask the airline if any better seats are available. It isn’t guaranteed, and some seats may require payment—but when an eligible seat is available, asking costs nothing. Save this for your next flight! 🌍

This is also more credible than claiming an airline will “upgrade you for free.” Seat availability and airline policies vary.

🧳✈️ Checked bag missing? Don’t leave the airport without reporting it. Go to the airline’s baggage service desk, keep your baggage tag and claim reference, and provide your bag details. Procedures vary by airline, so follow their instructions. Save this before your next flight!

✈️ Tight connection? Don’t wait until you land to figure out where you’re going. Check the airport terminal map beforehand, know your gate and transfer route, and if your first flight is delayed, alert the crew as soon as possible. Save this before your next trip! 🌍

🏨📸 One simple habit can save you from getting lost in a huge hotel or unfamiliar area. Take a quick photo of your room number and hotel entrance when you arrive. It takes seconds and can be surprisingly useful later. Save this travel hack for your next trip! ✈️

💳🌍 Using an ATM abroad? Don’t make this expensive mistake! If you’re offered a choice between USD and the local currency, choosing the local currency can help you avoid the ATM’s Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) markup. Your bank may still charge its own fees. Save this before your next international trip! ✈️

✈️ Ever wondered why airplane cabin lights are dimmed during takeoff and landing? It helps passengers’ eyes adjust to lower light levels, which can make it easier to see emergency lighting if needed. 😳 Did you know this? Tag a frequent flyer! 🌍

✈️ That tiny hole in an airplane window has an important job! It helps manage the pressure between the window panes during flight. 😳 Did you notice it before? Tag someone who flies often! 🌍

🍔✈️ Can you bring food on a flight? Solid snacks are generally easier to carry, but liquids and destination-country rules can be different. Always check your airline and airport’s current rules before you pack. Save this for your next trip! 🌍

✈️ Liquids in hand/cabin baggage

* Maximum 100 ml per container — even if the bottle is only partly full.
* All liquid containers should fit into one transparent, resealable bag of up to 1 litre.
* This includes water, shampoo, perfume, toothpaste, creams, gels, lotions, liquid makeup, sauces, etc.
* A 500 ml bottle containing only 50 ml generally does not qualify—the container itself must be 100 ml or smaller.
* Medicines, baby food and special dietary liquids can have exemptions, but you may need to present them separately for screening.

🧳 Liquids in checked baggage

Larger quantities can generally go in checked luggage, provided the substance itself is permitted for air transport. Flammable liquids, fuels, corrosive chemicals, etc. can be prohibited regardless of baggage type.

🛍️ Duty-free liquids

Liquids bought after security can be allowed in larger quantities when properly sealed according to the airport’s security/transit requirements. If you have a connecting international flight, check the transit airport’s rules.

Example:
Perfume 100 ml ✅
Shampoo 100 ml ✅
Shampoo 200 ml ❌ in cabin bag
Water bottle 500 ml ❌ through security
Empty 1-litre bottle ✅

🧴 Carry-on / cabin bag

* Each liquid container: maximum 3.4 oz / 100 ml
* All containers should fit in one quart-size (about 1 L) clear, resealable bag
* This applies to liquids, gels, creams, pastes and aerosols.
* A 200 ml bottle containing only 50 ml can still be rejected because the container capacity is over 100 ml.

💸 Don’t let baggage fees eat into your travel budget! Weigh your luggage before leaving home, use your permitted cabin baggage wisely, and avoid packing unnecessary items. Always check your airline’s current baggage allowance because rules vary. ✈️ Save this before your next flight!

Ever wondered why your flight gets delayed? ✈️ Weather, air traffic, maintenance, and delays from the aircraft’s previous flight are some of the most common reasons. Next time you’re stuck at the gate, you’ll know what’s happening! 😅 Save this for your next trip.
