Fastest flight i every noticed. But during sunset they look so beautiful flying together. This is my first sighting of Plover.
Pulikat is highly potential wet land for all kind of nature and wildlife photographer, but for capture close shot you actually require end less zoom lens.

It’s nothing much a territorial fight between to glossy ibis. The area of that wet land is big enough but don’t know why a flock of 4-5 ibis are fighting for a same area. Every year they do migrate to India Bharatpur and many wet lands in Chennai and other areas.

Its not easy for an adult egret also to walk on them :). Only support is 5ft wings span, which allow them to hop. When I look at sequence shots, its actually very funny, looks like they are dancing. But for an egret its a search for a solid footing on these Peat blogs.

Around 2 hours from Chennai. Massive water body, end less water, you need to spend good amount of time on the spot to get closure to birds. Sunset is more beautiful and best for photographers than sunrise. On the way back these 2 Stork surprised us, love the golden light on there beak.

It was a very boring day, until this shot. Overall Bhindawas is a very beautiful habitat.

Its an outstanding experience to come very close to this beautiful bird. Spent a good amount with them in a lonely morning next to Kosi river, where you can hear Garjia Temple bell and keep walking with them for a decent shot.

Encounter - At Surajpur Bird Park, Greater Noida, February 2016.

Sometime simple looking dogs can also surprise you. Only fault was, this Nilgai got stuck in the muddy water and his thin legs couldn't pull-out his heavy body out of the mud. It took less than 15-20 minutes by 3-4 dogs to finish an adult Nilgai. it was an experience to hear Nilgai's loud voice for help. And almost 4 hours, they enjoyed that fest, in fact at the end there were more than 10 dogs around that Nilgai.

When they finished half, group of dogs tried to take out half eaten Nilgai's body from the muddy water, but after tried multiple times they failed, and that's how they lost interest and left.
