"Niagara Falls of India"

Chitrakoot Falls is a natural waterfall on the Indravati River in the state of Chhattisgarh. Spreads over three braids 300-meter wide waterfall during the low-flow season over a free fall of about 30 meters (98 ft), this waterfall is about one-third less in width compared to Niagara Falls during the monsoon season.

The beauty of the falls can be seen throughout the year, particularly during sunset as the view of the waterfall at sunset and the changing hues around it is a sight to remember.

The best time to visit this majestic waterfall is from July to October when the Indravati River unleashes its full force. October to February remains the best time for photographers and nature lovers to see a clearer and white waterfall.
