The Mughal Gardens Rashtrapati Bhavan (official residence of President of India), is said to one of the central focus of the Presidential Estate. It is inspired by the Mughal Gardens of Jammu & Kashmir and only opens to public visitors about 2-3 weeks in a year. Sam Sand Dunes near Jaisalmer was a letdown experience for me personally after having been to wadi rum in jordan but it was mostly coz we didn’t really enter the great Thar Desert, but were only staying at the totally overrated commercial ‘desert safari camps’ at the edge of the desert.
