🌸 Parijaat Vriksh – A Divine Tree Brought from Heaven to Earth! 🌸
Nestled in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, stands a 5,000-year-old tree with roots deep in mythology and divinity – the Parijaat Tree.
Brought to Earth by Arjun during the Mahabharata era, it is said that Kunti Maa used its sacred flowers to perform Shivji’s abhishek.
Mentioned in the Padma Purana, this tree is believed to be the Kalpavriksha – one of the 14 divine treasures that emerged during Samudra Manthan.
Its uniqueness? The flowers bloom only at night and wither before dawn, symbolizing purity, mystery, and timeless faith.
Locals say the tree resembles the divine Airavat – Lord Indra’s elephant.
This isn’t just a tree — it’s a living legend, a symbol of devotion, and a celestial blessing still standing tall in Barabanki.
