My Dream House!!

Verendah Or Baramdah as we called it ,has become a vintage thing , thing of a beautiful past gone by !!

Sadly We don't design them in our houses any more !!😪

I for one ,will always love this kind of place ❤️...

This is where I've spent my innumerable Bachpan ke din ..
This is where one could enjoy rain,sun ,air , gap shap ,garam garam chaye n paratha, straight from Dadi's cholha n so much more ....This house depicted every thing warm , cosy , simple , beautiful and soul stirring !!!

You ate here , you entertained here , u rested here , u listened to those qissas there by Dadi , Abbu ,🌹aunties, chachis , you smelled the sondhi sondhi Barish aur mitti ki Khushboo there , you prayed there with your little hands and you followed ur grandma in namaz on her takht.

With beautiful terracotta tiles on floor , Dalaans, old fans with loong rods , nawar wali charpayaan( the cane woven beds n chairs) , coloured stained glass roshandans , the real wooden roof tops , a Kunwaan ( water Well) in the centre of the Sehan , A big Desi Murghion ka Darba on one side , Amrood aur Jamun ke darukht on the other , Gulabon Ki Baar ..This place had everything I ever wanted !!!

Uff so nostalgic !!

I miss my paternal grandparents House 🏚️..
Seems like centuries ago that we last went there . But would be cherished till my last breath !!

Ahh!!!..

Lekin ab In baramdon k liye Woh log bhi to hun....woh pyaarey log ❤️...Kissi aur hi dunya Ki makhlooq!!!

Wo Sarapa E Narmi , Wo Sarapa e Pyaar O Mohabbat!!
Wo Paiker e Husno Jamal , wo Paikare Naramkhoi !!
Ab ye khali parey Wehshet Zada baramde takleef ke siwa Kuch na dein g*y .
