Modern Avatar of the Inaugurated!

Today marks the historic revival of our ancient academic culture with inaugurating the of University in 's .

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several eminent people, including the heads of missions from 17 countries.

Originally established in the 5th century by , Nalanda was a hub for students from India and abroad.

At one time the famous and was the head of this university.

But in the 12th century, the university was sacked and destroyed by Bakhtiyar Khilji.

The newly revived boasts two academic blocks with 40 classrooms, seating around 1900 students, two 300-seat auditoriums, and a hostel for 550 students.

It’s a 'Net Zero' with , , and

Notably, the modern version of University will focus on Studies, and , Studies, and etc.

However, this may seem counterintuitive to some, including me, since the was a knowledge hub for , , etc. The university is expected to be brought back with the same values and offerings.

All things aside, though, the of signifies 's dedication to promoting and .

India Runs Successful Trial of the World's in J&K!

conducted the first trial run of Sangaldan to Track, the world's highest rail and Kashmir.

An electric engine trial on the track was conducted successfully, marking a significant milestone.

At 359 meters above sea level, the Chenab bridge offers breathtaking views and stands as an engineering marvel.

Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link ( ), the parent project for this bridge, is nearly complete, with only Tunnel No. 1 partially unfinished.

This project, expected to be completed by year's end, will provide all-weather connectivity to the valley, covering a 272 km stretch.

The 1.3 km Chenab rail bridge, located 35 meters higher than the in Paris, forms a crucial part of the project..

The Kashmir Administration has already revealed its plans to develop the bridge as a tourist spot.
