Cos the festive season is here, just around the corner, and you have but a few moments to pick what you want to do. It’s not who you are, but what you do that defines you. (As the Batman so eloquently put it a few years ago!)

Do you know what the business traveller of today is indulging in? Leisure!

Sounds ironic, doesn't it? But on the flipside, this is how the newage traveller is getting the best of both worlds and melding them into an experience worth its salt. And the bosses don't seem to mind, surprisingly!

BLeisure, as it is termed, has improved offsite productivity, reduced oustation expenses and provided much needed family time for executives who are always on the run from one airport to the other. The Indian Elephant (elephas maximus indicus) can consume upto 150 kgs of plant matter per day, and produce a staggering 100 kgs of dung while wandering overland. These magnificent beasts among the smartest and most empathetic creatures on the planet, even more so than us humans. It is a pity they are losing out to the quest for land by an ever increasing human population, directly leading habitat loss and fragmentation.

The best areas to experience life with the elephants in North India is the exquisite Corbett National Park.
