Being in the Hospitality Business in the last 15 years I would face one common Question from every Guest we serviced, that is “Which are the Best places in Goa to Visit?” As they are our guests it was always a pleasure to elaborate a few exotic locations in Goa and I could go all day talking about this beautiful Sun & Sand State of India.

Even though Goa is not a destination that you could holiday just for 4 days or a week and vouch to see the whole of it. Yet the below 10 places will give you a sense of satisfaction on making your trip worthy.

1) Dona Paula for a Birds-eye Scenery: The Lovers Paradise – as it is called, Dona Paula Jetty is located on the beautiful and famous sea stretch that spans from Panjim, Miramar and Dona Paula. A thrilling breeze blows over this place and the view is very scenic. This idyllic rocky tourist attraction lies at the spot where the Mandovi and the Zuari rivers meet the Arabian Sea.

2) Calangute Streets for a Shopping Ride: Calangute – Baga lane is one of the worthy ride you could have. And I really meant Ride & not Drive. उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रमुख पर्यटन स्थल

प्राचीन काल से ही उत्तर प्रदेश सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक और आध्यात्मिक रूप से काफी संपन्न रहा है। विश्व की सबसे प्राचीन नगरी के रूप में मान्यताप्राप्त वाराणसी (काशी) नगरी यहीं स्थित है। काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर और ताजमहल का नाम तो विश्वप्रसिद्ध है। तो आइये चलते हैं उत्तर प्रदेश की सैर पर :

1. आगरा - यमुना नदी के तट पर स्थित यह क्षेत्र अपने ऐतिहासिक स्मारकों के लिए विश्वप्रसिद्ध है। आगरा स्वादिष्ट पेठे और गजक के लिए भी प्रसिद्द है। यहाँ के पर्यटक स्थलों में ताजमहल, फतेहपुर सीकरी, आगरा का लाल किला और जामा मस्जिद प्रमुख हैं।

2. लखनऊ - उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ को नवाबों की नगरी के रूप में जाना जाता है। यहाँ के पर्यटक स्थलों में सबसे प्रसिद्द बड़ा इमामबाड़ा का निर्माण आसिफुद्दौला ने सन १७५४ में करवाया था। इसका विशाल गुम्बदनुमा हॉल ५० मीटर लंबा और १५ मीटर ऊंचा है। इसमें एक भूलभुलैया भी स्थित है जो की प्रमुख आकर्षण का केंद्र है। यहाँ स्थित असिफी मस्जिद में गैर मुसलमानों का प्रव्रश वर्जित है। इसके अतिरिक्त प्रमुख ऐतिहासिक पर्यटक स्थलों में भारत का सबसे ऊंचा घण्टाघट, रूमी दरवाज़ा, छोटा इमामबाड़ा, रेजीडेन्सी, बनारसीबाग़, पिक्चर गैलरी और मोती महल भी बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करते हैं।

3. कुशीनगर - यह अत्यंत प्राचीन स्थल है। कहा जाता है की भगवान राम के पुत्र कुश ने इस नगर को बसाया था। उनके नाम पर ही इस स्थान का नाम कुशीनगर पड़ गया। कुश के पूर्वज ही कुशवाहा कहलाये। बौद्ध धर्म के लिए यह एक पवित्र स्थल है। यहाँ के प्रमुख पर्यटक स्थल निम्न हैं!

4. मथुरा - भगवान श्री कृष्ण की जन्म स्थली के रूप में प्रसिद्द मथुरा मंदिरों की नगरी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह आगरा से ५६ किलोमीटर और दिल्ली से १४४ किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। यहाँ के प्रसिद्द तीर्थस्थल के रूप में श्रीकृष्ण जन्मभूमि, द्वारकाधीश मंदिर, गीता मंदिर, विश्रामघाट और पागल बाबा का मंदिर प्रमुख हैं। मथुरा संग्रहालय भी दर्शनीय है।

5. वृन्दावन - यह मथुरा से मात्रा १५ किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। यह स्थान श्री कृष्ण की गोपियों संग लीला के लिए प्रसिद्द है। यहाँ श्रीकृष्ण और राधारानी के अमर प्रेम को दर्शाते और संसार को प्रेम का सन्देश देते ४ हज़ार से ज़्यादा मंदिर हैं जिनमें बांके बिहारी और कृष्ण बलराम मंदिर सबसे प्रमुख हैं।

6. वाराणसी - पवित्र गंगा नदी के तट पर स्थित काशी नगरी विश्व की सबसे प्राचीन नगरी के रूप में प्रतिष्ठित है। यहां लगभग ८४ घाट हैं जिनमें से पांच घाट (दशाश्वमेघ, मणिकर्णिका, आदिकेशव, पंचगंगाघाट और अस्सीघाट) बहुत ही पवित्र माने जाते हैं। एक तीर्थ के रूप में काशी नगरी में सबसे प्रमुख काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर में भगवान भोलेनाथ के दर्शनों हेतु देश और विदेश से श्रद्धालुओं की भीड़ वर्ष भर लगी रहती है। इसके अलावा अन्नपूर्णा मंदिर, साक्षी गणेश मंदिर और विशालाक्षी मंदिर भी दर्शनीय हैं। लोलार्क कुंड, दुर्गा कुंड, केदारेश्वर मंदिर और काशी हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय भी पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करते हैं।

7. सारनाथ - वाराणसी से १० किलोमीटर दूर स्थित सारनाथ भगवान बुद्ध की तपोभूमि के रूप में प्रसिद्द है। यहीं से उन्होंने धर्म चक्र प्रवर्तन शुरू किया था। तीसरी शताब्दी ईसा पूर्व में सम्राट अशोक ने यहाँ कई स्तूपों का निर्माण कराया था। यहाँ एक सुन्दर पत्थर का स्तम्भ भी अशोक द्वारा बनवाया गया था जिस पर सम्राट अशोक की धर्मलिपि अंकित है। इसी स्तम्भ पर स्थित सिंह और धर्म चक्र को भारतीय गणराज्य का राष्ट्रीय चिह्न बनाया गया है। यहाँ के स्तूप दर्शनीय हैं।

8. इलाहाबाद - वर्तमान में प्रयागराज के नाम से जाना जाने वाला इलाहाबाद अनेक दर्शनीय स्थलों जैसे इलाहाबाद किला, आनंद भवन, खुसरोबाग, पब्लिक लाइब्रेरी, इलाहाबाद म्यूजियम के लिए प्रसिद्द है। तीर्थ के रूप में गंगा, यमुना और सरस्वती नदी के मिलन स्थल के रूप में संगम तट काफी प्रसिद्द है। इसके अतिरिक्त हनुमान मंदिर, शिवकुटी और भारद्वाज आश्रम भी तीर्थयात्रियों के आकर्षण का केंद्र हैं।

9. चित्रकूट - मंदाकिनी नदी के तट पर स्थित और विंध्य पर्वत श्रृंखलाओं के प्राकृतिक रूप से सुरम्य स्थान का नाम चित्रकूट है। कहा जाता है कि भगवान राम ने माता सीता और लक्ष्मण के साथ वनवास के चौदह वर्षों में से ग्यारह वर्ष यहीं बिताये थे। यह स्थान ऋषि अत्रि और सती अनुसुइया की स्थली है। यहाँ के प्रमुख धार्मिक स्थल निम्न हैं!
