Trek to Indrahara pass
Day 01: 30 Oct. 2015 - Pathankot & Dharamsala
Arriving in Pathankot early morning, we then transfer by coach to Dharamsala – the spiritual home of his Holiness the Dalai Lama. There we will be some free time today to explore this fascinating town, before we meet later in the evening for dinner and a briefing for the start of our Trek tomorrow.
Day 02 : 31 Oct. 2015 - Mcleod ganj - Triund (2975m) 9Km
The track goes through mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar trees. First 2km is a steed ascent but there is agradual ascent after Galu Devi temple. The last 1 km ia again a steep ascent through the forest. Triund is a flat meadow on top of a ridge. From here panoramic view of Dhauladhar range on one side and Kangra valley on the other is a memorable sight. Night stay in tents.
Day 03 : 01 Nov. 2015 - Triund - Lahes Cave (3700m)...7km
This is an acclimatization day. After a short ascent from Triund traverse a ridge to reach Laka Got – a temporary shephard camp. Laka Got is situated at the snout of a small glacier , which is full of snow and ice in early summer and the snow melts away during the monsoon. From Laka Got it is a steep ascent for 2 km over a rocky ridge to reach Lahes cave. Night stay inthe cave or comp at Laka Got.
Day 04 : 02 Nov. 2015 - Lahes cave - Inderhara pass (4300m) - Laka Got
Start early in the morning, the waether gets bad in the afternoon. Inthe early summer (April to May) the trail is full of snow and ice and reqiure good equipment. During post mansoon (September to November) there is no snow or ice and there is narrow trail going uo to the pass. Il takes about three hours to the pass and another three hours to come down. From the pass entire Pir Panjal range of central Himalayas is a sidht to behold. Back to Laka Got For Panjal range of central Himalayas is a sight to behold. Back to Laka Got for night stay.
Day 05 : 03 Nov. 2015 - Laka Got - Mcleodganj ..... 15km
Follow the same route on the way back or a different one from Triund going over a grassy meadow and desecend down to Bhagsu Nag and then to Mcleodganj.Over night in Hotel
Day 06: 04 Nov. 2015 - Dharamsala - Pathankot
We have a free morning to further explore this magical town – why not visit the Tibetan market or take a visit to one of the majestic monasteries. In the afternoon, we take the transfer back to Pathankot train station to catch the overnight sleeper train back to Delhi.

Trekking in Dharamsala.

Day 1: 08 June 2015 Mcleodganj – Triund (2900m) ...9Km
It is a beautiful walk through mixed forests of the deodar, oak and rhododendron. Triund is situated on a ridge with a beautiful view of whole Kangra valley on one side and Dhauladhar mountain range on the other. Overnight stay in a tents.

Day 02: 09 June 2015 Truind - Snow Line - Lahas Cave (3700m.) Triund.
This is perhaps one of the most challenging days of the trek. After breakfast we walk further up to Lahas cave which is a temporary shepherd campsite in the summer, situated at the tip of a small glacier. There will be an opportunity to walk on the glacier to reach Lhes Cave, this is quite strenuous but well worth the effort. Lhes Cave is used as an overnight shelter by the shepherds travelling over the mountain with their sheep. We return to Triund for the overnight stay.

Day 03: 10 June 2015 Triund – Mcleodganj
Take the same route on the way back or follow the grassy ridge which will lead to Bhagsu Nag Temple, after crossing a small waterfall on the way. Mcleodganj is only 1.5 Km from the Bhagsu Nag by road.

Quote for the above package would be: INR 3900/- per person

Above quote includes:
1. All meals during the trek starting from lunch on day one till lunch on day three.
2. All trekking equipment including tents on twin sharing, sleeping bags, sleeping mats,

Day 01: New Delhi to Dharamsala 550km

Evening time take Volvo bus Delhi to Dharamsala (Mcleod ganj) Overnight at Volvo bus.

Day 02: Dharamsala

Day 03: Dharamsala to Baijnath 80km drive

Drive to Baijnath by jeep. It is one of the pilgrim centers of Hindu because of very ancient temple of Shiva Vaidhyanath (lord of Physicians). Legend has it that this is where king Ravana (from the epic Ramayana) supplicated Shiva for the boon of immortality. The linga enshrined in this sanctum is one of the 12 Jyortilinga (Lord Shiva’s stone image) in the country. Overnight at Tent

Day 04: Utrala to Parai (2390 mtrs)

Utrala-Parai (2390 mtrs) the trek weaves all along the Parai nullah ghaving gentle climb night halt in tents.

Day 05: parai to Yara Gote

Parai to Yara Gote (cross over Jalsu pass – 3600 mtrs.) Jalsu pass is an accessible pass and is easy to cross, trekkers and pilgrimage who takes part in Mnimahesh pilgrimage often cross this pass and stay at Yara gote which has vast green meadows. Local people establish seasonal tea stalls to the help the trekkers and pilgrimage. Night stay in tents.

Day 06: Yara Gote to Surai village (2788 mtrs.)

Yara Gote- Surai village (2788 mtrs.). The trek descends from Yara gote to Surai having dense forest of mixed variety. This region is also famous for collection of medicinal plants night halt in tents.

Day 07: Surai to Nayagraon

Surai – Nayagraon, the trek to Nayagraon, few villages at intervals, the trek descends steeply at places and from Ravi onwards a jeep able road. Night stay in village house or in tents.

Day 08: Nayagran- Bharmour or Chamba

Nayagran- Bharmour or Chamba by jeep/Bus. Overnight at Hotel

Day 09 Bharmour or Chamba to Pathankot

We have a free morning to further explore this magical town – we take the transfer back to Pathankot train station to catch the overnight sleeper train back to Delhi.

BOOKING STARTS FOR CHRISTMAS TREK 2014

25 December: Arrive Mcleodganj and trek to Triund (2994 mts/9818 ft.) 10 kms/3-4 hrs (L, D)
Report our office. After freshen up, your trek begins towards Triund passing through Dhramkot. The trail to Triund is generally gentle except last few kms. Dinner & overnight in tents.

26 December: Triund - Lahesh Cave (3598 mts/11800 ft) 9 kms/ 3-4 hrs on side – back to Triund (B, L, D)
After breakfast - This day the trail follows the ridge behind the prayer flags above the. The trail climbs generally through oak and conifer forest and across the open meadows to the encampment at Laka Got. The last 200 - 300 mts is tiring to Lahesh Cave. After Lunch trek back to Triund. Dinner and overnight in tents.

27 December: Triund - Bhagsu Nag (Mecleodganj) 8 kms (B, L)
Following our last breakfast in the campsite, we begin trekking over a grassy ridge which offers us lasting memories of the snow capped peaks that surround us.
Our trek continues with a steep descent to the Bahgsu Nallaha stream – we cross the stream by hopping over the boulders with the help of our local guides. We push towards Bhagsu Nag, which has a divine temple and natural springs.
(End of services) (B- Breakfast, L- Lunch, D- dinner)

Tour Cost: Rs.3250 per person plus 3.09% service taxes

The above cost includes:
Tent for sleeping with sleeping bags & mattresses, all veg meals (Breakfast, lunch & dinner), morning & evening tea, English speaking guide, permit & camping fees, kitchen tent and utensils, cook and his helpers

TENTS + SLEEPING BAG AND MATT RENT RATES:-
1. 2 man tent (Single Layer) - Rs – 500 + 100 = 600 per night. (One sleeping Bag)
2. 2 man tent (Double Layer) - Rs – 700 + 100 =800 per night. (One sleeping Bag)
3. 3 man tent (Double Layer) – Rs – 800 + 100 = 900 per night. (One sleeping Bag)
4. 4 man tent (Double Layer) – Rs – 1000 + 100 = 1100 per night. (One sleeping Bag)
POINTS TO NOTE:-
1. All the above rates mentioned are for 24 hrs bases, extra hours will be charged separately.
2. Deposit amount worth the original price of tent will be kept while renting the tents as security and will be refunded after deducting the rent.
3. In case of any damages, rear and tear – full amount of tent shall be remitted and hence no return will be given.
4. Tents have been booked 02 days in advance.
