Forktail Villa The Forktail villa was built in Kangra style of architecture, using Permaculture philosophy & old traditional methods using mud, stone, slate and bamboo.

Forktail villa built in the local Kangra Style of architecture. At the villa we have tried to incorporate the Permaculture philosophy in all areas of construction as best as we could. The house has been built with mud, stone, slate and bamboo. We have used old traditional methods of construction and everything was made by local artisans from the village of Gamru. Infact building multi-storey mud houses is almost a dying art and even finding skilled people to build is very hard.
