This time our direction is RAJASTAN - the land of the Maharajas!

It's one of the most exciting and amazing Indian state. It seems that in Rajasthan lived the most colorful people of the country, they keep their culture with the most primeval times. There are a many of monuments (fortresses, forts and palaces), and in very bright and beautiful Hindu celebrations. Here Thar Desert, with its safari and camels fair. Уже на подлете к Леху ( столица Ладакха) вы не можете оторваться от окна иллюминатора. От такого зрелища невозможно оторваться, потому что...ну просто невозможно. Вся поверхность земли до горизонта - это горы, горы и еще раз горы. Величественные Гималаи. Королевская горная гряда. Так и хочется погладить сверху гигантской ладонью эту бесконечную поверхность массива - ощутить её шероховатость и теплоту. Это Ладакх. Это Гималаи!

Pangong-Tso - means "lake of high meadows." This is a closed lake high in the Himalayas (at an altitude of 4350 meters above sea level). It is 134 km long and extends from India to China (60% of the length of the lake - in China). At its widest point width of 5 km. In winter the lake freezes completely, despite the salt water.
Tomorrow we are starting there to check it all by ourself!
