‘Alohi’ means “guest” in Assamese. It also echoes the word ‘Aloha’ a Hawaiian greeting that carries warmth, love, and welcome. 🌈❣️

Step into the serene Chug Valley, where tradition meets sustainability through the art of Mon - Shugu paper making. 🌿 Crafted from the Shugu-Sheng plant, this centuries-old technique has been lovingly preserved by the Monpa community.🔐

What makes it even more remarkable? The women of Chug valley lead this intricate, labor-intensive process, turning natural materials into eco-friendly, artisanal paper sheets.👩‍❤️‍👩
