Kareri Lake is most famous for being a trekking destination in Dhauladhar. The lake often remains frozen with ice from December to March-April. On the hill on one side of the lake there is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Shakti. Kereri Lake (also known as Kumarava Lake) is 9 km south of the Dhauladhar range. There is a shallow, fresh water lake in north-west Dharamshala at an altitude of 2934 meters above sea level. The natural landscape around the lake is very beautiful and charming (Source - https://hpkangra.nic.in/tourist-place/kareri-lake/ and Naveen 𝕂𝕦𝕀𝕙𝕨𝕒𝕙𝕒)
