Kind of an opportunity to be amongst about 400 plus from Mumbai invited by the Ministry Of Development Of North Eastern Region and organised in association of FICCI .
It was well planned presentation with individual states highlighting their needs, capabilities, in various spheres of life , growing infrastructures, availability of natural resources, most important the people's willingness to be part of the growth which all are looking forward- all via videos and slides with database to make it easy to understand and reach out to all those who attended.
Of course I was more interested in travel tourism sector , handicrafts and also agro based food sector which all mingle when tourists travel in such areas .
Post lunch we were escorted to different halls for one to one meetings with state representatives, officials who were happy to share details to queries by all.
All under the roof of Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Mumbai - the mother of hospitality industry . The perfect hosts of many such events .
