ITINERARY
DAY 1 – 14th JULY 2026 | Departure from Delhi
DAY 2– 15th JULY 2026 | Bhubaneswar
Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station, proceed to Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then visit the nearby Chandrabhaga Beach. Continue your journey to Puri and check in to your hotel. Later, in the evening, enjoy a stroll along Puri Sea Beach. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay and prepare for the next day Rath Yatra.
Day 3 – 16th July 2026 | Grand Rath Yatra Experience
This is the most awaited day of your journey as you witness the grand Jagannath Rath Yatra. After an early start, you will be escorted to your exclusive observation deck, which is optional and available at an Extra cost of INR 3000 Per person (Depends upon availability at the time of confirmation), allowing you to experience the magnificent chariot procession of Jagannath Ji in a safe, comfortable, and crowd-free environment. As the streets come alive with devotion, chants, and celebrations, you will have the perfect vantage point to absorb the divine atmosphere. As the day progresses, you will witness the sacred Chhera Pahanra ritual, a unique and symbolic ceremony of the Rath Yatra. Later in the evening or around midnight, you will visit the Gundicha Temple for darshan by foot as vehicles are not permitted in that area during the yatra, completing a truly unforgettable spiritual experience before returning to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4 – 17th July 2026 | Temple & Cultural Exploration
After breakfast, you will proceed on foot or available mode of transport to the parking point and then proceed for a full-day Tour starting with a visit to Chilika Lake at Satpada – Asia’s second-largest brackish water lagoon. (Optional: boat ride to spot Irrawaddy dolphins.). Next, visit Alarnath Temple and Sakhigopal Temple. Take blessings from the lord and return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 – 18th July 2026 | Optional Excursion (subject on the train time availability) & Departure
Post breakfast, move towards Bhubaneswar, and visit the peaceful Dhauli Peace Pagoda, a symbol of peace and historical transformation, followed by a visit to the the sacred Lingaraj Temple, Annant Vasudev Temple, Kedargauri Temple, Rajarani Temple, Bhaskareswar Temple, Khandagiri and Udayagiri Caves. Later, you will proceed to Bhubaneswar Railway Station or Airport for your departure, carrying with you unforgettable memories of a divine and enriching experience at the Jagannath Rath Yatra.
