Just before the Char Dham Yatra began, I set out on the Chopta-Chandrashila Trek seeking escape, but found transformation. The steep climb tested my limits, yet each step through rhododendron forests and towards Tungnath—the world’s highest Shiva temple—taught resilience. A chance meeting with a local shepherdess offered raw insights into mountain life and strength. At 4,000 meters, atop Chandrashila, surrounded by Himalayan giants, I felt small yet complete. That moment redefined my fears, goals, and perspective. It wasn’t just a trek—it was a shift within. This trek reminded me that growth often lies just beyond comfort. It gave me a renewed sense of direction—both on the trail and in life.
