​Dear Travelers,
​As per the latest guidelines issued by the Mangan District Administration (Effective March 9, 2026), the following stay durations are now MANDATORY for all permits to Lachen and Gurudongmar Lake:
​🏔️ Lachen & Gurudongmar Lake: Minimum 2 Nights / 3 Days stay.
​🌸 Lachen + Lachung (Full Circuit): Minimum 3 Nights / 4 Days stay.

These regulations are in place to ensure proper acclimatization for high altitudes (17,800 ft) and to protect the structural integrity of the new bridge at Taram Chu, which allows only one vehicle to cross at a time.

We just had the most epic adventure with Travel Trek team, courtesy of the dynamic duo, Saroj Bhayya and Rajesh Bhayya!
