Yes, the mango is often called the “queen of fruits” (though some may call it the “king of fruits”)—and during mango season, it truly reigns supreme! And when it comes to mangoes, Malda (in West Bengal) deserves a heartfelt thank you. 🍋🥭

Malda is home to some of the finest and most flavorful mango varieties in India, including:
• Langra – known for its rich taste and aroma
• Himsagar – juicy, fiberless, and super sweet
• Fazli – large in size, slightly tangy, and perfect for pickles
• Bombai – fragrant and unique in flavor

So yes, mango season is a celebration of this regal fruit, and Malda truly wears the crown when it comes to contributing to its glory.
