North Sikkim 2night /3days travel Itinerary covering Lachung, Yumthang Valley & Zero Point (this season):

🗓️ Day 1: Gangtok → Lachung

Start early morning (8–9 AM) from Gangtok (about 6–7 hours drive to Lachung).
En route sightseeing: Seven Sister Waterfalls, Naga Waterfall, Singhik View Point (Kanchenjunga view).
Lunch on the way (local restaurants).
Reach Lachung village by late afternoon.
Check into hotel/homestay.
Evening free: stroll around the village, enjoy local food.
Overnight Stay: Lachung

🗓️ Day 2: Lachung → Yumthang Valley → Zero Point → Lachung

Early Morning Breakfast and depart (6–7 AM).
Drive to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft) – famous as the “Valley of Flowers of Sikkim.”
Continue further (if permit & road condition allows) to Zero Point (15,000 ft).
Experience snow (seasonal), breathtaking mountain views, and chilly winds.
Have hot Maggi / tea from small stalls.

Afternoon

Return journey back to Lachung. Evening Relax at Lachung.
Overnight Stay: Lachung

🗓️ Day 3: Lachung → Gangtok

Morning Breakfast and check out. return drive via Singhik, Chungthang.
Short stop for tea/lunch. Afternoon
Arrive back at Gangtok by evening.

📌 Important Notes

Permit: Protected Area Permit (PAP) required for Lachung & Yumthang (arranged by tour operator).

Best Start Time: Start early from Lachung for Zero Point (weather is clearer in the morning).

Clothes: Carry warm jackets, gloves, caps, thermal wear. Temperature at Zero Point can drop below freezing, even in September.

Health: Zero Point is high altitude → may cause mild breathlessness. Carry water, avoid overexertion.

Please know that passes will be issued only for Lachung,yumthang valley and zero point .
