Today's ROAD STATUS UPDATE for High Altitude Tourist Destinations of Sikkim: (10/03/2020)

Tsomgo-Nathula: Permits provided till 15th mile Only

Lachen Axis: Chungthang-Lachen- permit issued. Vehicles have reach near Thangu Valley also. Care should be taken due to skidding/slippery roads due to snow. Gurudongmar Lake - close.

Lachung Axis: Chungthang-Lachung-permit issued. Vehicles have reach nearly 10 -12 kms from Lachung but vehicles are unable to reach areas beyond.
Yumthang Valley - Close

Silk Route: Open till Thambi View Point Via Rongli.

Sikkim government has made mandatory for all the tourists visiting Sikkim to fill up a Self Reporting Form on arrival. The action has been taken as a precautionary measure in regard to COVID- 19 ( Corono Virus).

"All tourists while arriving to their respective hotels, resorts, homestays etc should fill up the form at the time of check in" said a Senior Tourism officer.

The format of the form is given below.
