"A Season's Kickoff: Unforgettable Birding in Northeast India's Breathtaking Landscapes
We are thrilled to share the highlights of our inaugural birding trip of the season, a thrilling 9-night, 10-day(16th to 26th October 25) odyssey led by the esteemed Mr. Maulik Varu and his family. Our journey took us through the pristine wilderness of Eaglenest WLS, Mandala, Sela Pass, Garbhanga RF, and the lush landscapes of Meghalaya.
This early-season adventure yielded an impressive tally of over 170 bird species, including rare, endangered, and endemic gems. The fact that we ventured into Northeast India during a typically fledgling period for birding makes this achievement all the more remarkable.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined WILDEAST on this extraordinary expedition. Your enthusiasm and passion made this experience truly unforgettable. Here's to many more thrilling birding adventures ahead!"
