'Don't Want People Going After Muslims, Kashmiris': Wife of Navy Officer Killed in Pahalgam Terror Attack.....! 😢❤😢❤❤
: The wife of a Navy officer killed in the April 22 terror attack in Kashmir urged people not to target Muslims or Kashmiris, calling for peace and justice as she paid tribute to her late husband."We don't want people going after Muslims and Kashmiris.We want peace and only peace," said Himanshi Narwal on Thursday at a blood donation camp in Karnal, Haryana, where her husband, Lt. Vinay Narwal, had grown up. The Naval officer, who was shot dead while on his honeymoon in Pahalgam, would have turned 27 on Thursday."I just want the entire nation to pray for him, that wherever he is, he remains happy and in peace," she said. Himanshi, who had been married just a week before the attack, broke down alongside her mother-in-law while offering floral tributes to Narwal. She kissed his photo through tears. "We want peace and justice. Those responsible should be punished," she said.Lt. Narwal was among 26 people, most of them tourists, killed when terrorists opened fire at the Baisaran meadows in Pahalgam, in south Kashmir's Anantnag district.The blood donation drive was organised by the National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activists (NIFAA) to honor the fallen officer. Several people gathered to donate blood, including local leaders and residents."I want to thank everyone who travelled from far away to donate blood. The response has been overwhelming," said Narwal's sister, Shristi Narwal. "The government has also supported us."BJP MLA from Karnal, Jagmohan Anand, also attended the event.
