The Kerala backwaters in the early hours of the morning. No engine. No agenda. Just water and silence..
Your clients wakes up on a private kettuvallam (a converted rice barge) to find that the boat has anchored overnight in a canal so still it looks like glass. The cook is already in the galley. Coffee is on the way. Two kingfishers argue on a palm frond overhead.
There is no itinerary for this morning. No check-out time. No plan except to watch the backwaters come to life around them.
This is slow travel done with every luxury intact. A dedicated crew, a chef who shops the morning market from the boat, and 48 hours with nowhere to be.
Some trips change the pace of one's life - this is one of them.
