“The Brahmaputra, up close and unfiltered.”

ABN Charaidew II is a modern river cruise boat operated by Assam Bengal Navigation, offering multi-day journeys along the Brahmaputra River in Assam.
It’s a quiet, comfortable way to explore the region—gliding past shifting riverbanks, stopping at small villages, and visiting places you’d probably never reach on your own.

The boat itself has 18 cabins for up to 36 guests, with a mix of upper deck rooms with French balconies, a couple of larger deluxe cabins with private balconies, and a few compact cabins on the main deck that work well for solo travellers.
On board, there’s a lounge, a dining room, a sun deck, and even a small gym and spa.

Ranakpur is one of the few places in Rajasthan that seems made for the monsoon.

The Aravallis take on a fresh green cover, forest drives become all the more rewarding and walks along Kumbhalgarh Fort's massive walls feel even more dramatic under shifting skies.

The Mountbatten Lodge feels especially well suited to this time of year. Between long verandahs overlooking rain-soaked lawns, lingering lunches beneath the banyan tree, and evenings that begin with jazz and end with laughters, it's easy to lose track of time.
