DAY WISE ITINERARY
DAY 1 : GUWAHATI – BHALUKPONG (242 km 6 hours)
Meet and greet at airport/railway. Then we will be heading towards Bhalukpong via nagaon route en route visit Mrityunjay Maha mandir ,world’s largest Shivlinga, Upon arrival check into the pre booked hotel & rest for the night at Bhalukpong.
DAY 2 : BHALUKPONG – DIRANG ( 138 km 5 hours )
Morning after breakfast, we will heading towards Dirang, then visit Tippi orchid sanatorium, Nag mandir, Nechephu falls. After reaching Dirang visit Dirang Monastery & Hot water sprig. Then check in to pre booked hotel & rest for the night at Dirang.
DAY 3 : DIRANG – TAWANG ( 135 km 6 hours )
Morning after breakfast, we will be heading towards Tawang. En route visit Baisakhi Camp reach Sela Pass & Paradise lake at 13,700 ft. Then reach Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Upon arrival check in to the pre booked hotel & rest for the night at Tawang.
DAY 4 : TAWANG LOCAL ( full day sightseeing )
After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed for the local sightseeing tour in Tawang. We will be visiting the Tawang Monastery, which is around 400 yrs old and is the is the 6th birth place of Dalai Lama. The Tawang Monastery is a major attraction of the town with a commanding view of the splendid valleys beyond. Also, we will be visiting the War memorial, Giant Buddha Statue. The evening is free at leisure for shopping. Take pleasure of an overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.
DAY 5 : TAWANG- BUM LA PASS ( full day sightseeing )
Morning after breakfast we will be heading towards Bum La Pass 15,200 ft which is located about 37 km away from Tawang. PTSO Lake(Pankang Teng Tso Lake) & Songetster Lake is lake was formed during the earthquake of 1950. The lake nestles between huge mountains and is clear and beautiful with what looked like a hundred bamboo poles standing straight up in the water all over the lake. These were actually ramrod straight trees without any branches or leaves on them growing in the lake-water. The entire scene is breath-takingly beautiful. The air is cold and biting and even in our warm clothes we felt cold. On the way there were many big and small clear mountain lakes which were also very beautiful. The lake has bare trees standing like guards in vigil. The lake is popularly known as Madhuri Lake after her shooting a film in Arunachal Pradesh. Then return back to pre booked hotel & nightstay at Tawang. (LOCAL VEHICLE)
DAY 6 : TAWANG – BOMDILA ( 177 km 7 hours )
After breakfast we will be heading towards Bomdila. En route visit to Nuranung waterfalls (Jang fallls). The district head-quarter of West kameng district, is a beautiful small town situated at a height of about 8000 ft. above the sea level from where one can see the brilliant landscape and snow-clad mountains of the Himalayan Range. The Buddhist monastery of Bomdila is the repository of culture and is among primary attractions It has a lot of attractions for the tourists with its cool climate, Apple orchards, artistic people, snow-capped Himalayan peaks and Buddhist Gompas. The Buddhist monastery of Bomdila is the repository of culture. This place has a tourist lodge, a craft centre displaying local crafts and a shopping centre where the visitors’ gets first feel of the local version of Himalayan life style after reaching visit Bomdila GRL Monestery. Then check in to the pre booked hotels, nightstay at Bomdila.
DAY 7 : BOMDILA – GUWAHATI ( 269 km 7 hours )
Morning after breakfast, check out from the resort and we will be heading towards Guwahati. After reaching Guwahati drop at airport / railway station for onward journey. Here the journey with us end with some wonderful memories!!!!!
