The Bhrigu Lake Trek, located in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, India, is a mesmerizing journey into the heart of the Himalayas. This trek is renowned for its stunning high-altitude lake, situated at an altitude of approximately 4,300 meters (14,100 feet).

The trek starts from the charming village of Gulaba, around 22 kilometers from Manali, and typically takes 3-4 days to complete. It offers trekkers an opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty of lush green meadows, also known as "Bugyal," which stretch as far as the eye can see. As you ascend, the landscape transforms from dense forests of oak and cedar to open grasslands, dotted with wildflowers.

One of the highlights of this trek is the panoramic view of the snow-capped peaks, including the famous Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges. The serene and pristine Bhrigu Lake itself is a sight to behold, often surrounded by snow even during the summer months. According to local legends, the lake is named after the sage Bhrigu, who is said to have meditated here.
