Kumaon has various options of weekend hikes/treks.

Pandukholi hike is one of the best soft trek for the beginner's. Approx 7 kms(back & forth) hike from Kukucheena, the hike takes one from 2000 mts to 2500 mts of elevation to reach amongst oak & rhododendron trees and beautiful small bugyal.
One can further also visit "Mahaavtaar Babajis Cave" to experience the spirituality of the Dronagiri hills🌿 & one of the famous Shaktipeeth "Dunagiri" temple.
It's one of the most fulfilling weekend hike with a mix of history,culture, spirituality & adventure 🌿🏕️🧘
