•Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures such as, gather patient’s clinical history, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.
•Select and operates radiography equipment, associated accessories to successfully perform procedures.
•Position patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.
•Determines radiographic technique exposure factors and applies principle of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient, self and others.
•Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized interpretational radiography procedures.
•Provide patient’s education and assists in maintaining records, respecting confidentiality as per established policy.
•Maintains knowledge and observe universal precautions, understand and applies patient relations skills and pursues appropriate continuing education.
• Proper developing, fixing, washing and drying exposed film using manual, automatic processor.
•Maintaining record, like patients’ record, monthly reports and daily logbook.
•Maintaining quality and quantity of x-ray machine to ensure the required standard.
•Participate in the departments’ quality assessment and improvement plan.
•Liaise with consulting Radiologist for direction as appropriate.
•Any other works as needed by the department and advised by management.
