Heartfelt greetings of the traditional "Hardudh Festival” 2020 celebrated at Mukhwa village in Harsil Valley, the winter worship place of Maa Ganga. In this festival which is celebrated every year on August 4th, milk is offered to Naag Devta and the adorable Shri Sameswara deity of Ganga valley, all villagers wish for happiness and prosperity from Lord Sameswar and the ‘doli’ of Sameswara deity dances on a sheet of flowers made in the temple premises. Villagers take those flowers with them as a blessing. The Celebration of Hardudh Festival in Uttarakhand showcases the high religious spirit and traditional values that rural people of Uttarakhand have.
