This itinerary typically encompasses the winter seats of the four primary Dhams over a period of 7 to 9 days. Yamunotri Winter Seat (Kharsali) Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar/Rishikesh, followed by a drive to Barkot (approximately 6-7 hours). Day 2: Barkot, proceed to drive to Kharsali (the winter seat of Goddess Yamuna), perform Darshan at the Shani Dev Temple in Kharsali, and return to Barkot or proceed to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay. Gangotri Winter Seat (Mukhba/Mukhwa) Day 3: Barkot/Uttarkashi, drive to Uttarkashi, check-in, and visit the Vishwanath Temple in the evening. Day 4: Uttarkashi, drive to Mukhba/Mukhwa (the winter seat of Goddess Ganga), perform Darshan at the temple, and return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay. Kedarnath Winter Seat (Ukhimath) Day 5: Uttarkashi, drive to Guptkashi or Rudraprayag (note: this is a long driving day), check-in, and rest. Day 6: Drive to Ukhimath (the winter seat of Lord Kedarnath), perform Darshan at the Omkareshwar Temple, and drive towards Pipalkoti/Joshimath for an overnight stay. If time permits, visit Trijuginarayan (the mythological marriage place of Lord Shiva and Parvati) en route. Badrinath Winter Seat (Joshimath/Pandukeshwar) Day 7: Pipalkoti/Joshimath, visit Joshimath, perform Darshan at Narsingh Temple (the winter seat of Lord Badrinath), and visit Jyotirmath. Day 8: Visit Yog Dhyan Badri Temple at Pandukeshwar (another temple associated with the Badrinath deity) and Vishnuprayag (the confluence of Alaknanda and Dhauliganga Rivers). Day 9: Joshimath, drive back to Rishikesh/Haridwar, and conclude the Yatra.
