Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Leh- Day Free to Acclimatise
Board your flight to Leh from Delhi. Take amazing views of snow clad
mountain peaks that seem too close to you! On arrival at Leh Airport, meet
the local tour representative who will transfer you to the hotel. Take rest
as you’ll need time to acclimatise in this climate. From low elevation at
New Delhi, you’ve reached over 11000 feet and thus the weather is very
different here. In the evening you can take a leisurely walk through the old
town for a self orientation with the lovely city. However, keep it relaxed
and don’t hurry to just get out and start exploring. Return to hotel, have
dinner and sleep tight in the peaceful silence of the valley.

Day 2: Leh- Full day Sightseeing
Visit to Shey, Thiksey & Hemis Monastery
Wake up to a tranquil morning, breathe in the cleanest of air and take a
fill at morning breakfast. Set out for a full day of sightseeing. Visit the
massive Tibetan Buddhist Gompas of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis.
Shey is a beautiful ancient capital, a few kilometers up the Indus that
charms everyone with its age old palaces and temples restored impressively.
After Shey, we further drive to visit the fortress styled monastery of
Thikse. Then we visit the Hemis Monastery, believed to be the most famous
and rich Buddhist temple in the entire region. After exploring the sacred
monasteries, return back to hotel and relax. You can stroll in the small
local markets to buy some souvenirs. Have dinner at hotel and retire to a
relaxed sleep.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra (130 kms / 5 hrs)
After morning breakfast, get ready for an adventurous thrill filled day.
Check out from the hotel and drive to Nubra Valley via World’s Highest
Motorable Pass. We drive through steep serpentine roads and reach Khardung
La at a height of 5550 metres. Take a stop at the pass and enjoy bird’s eye
view of Leh city from here, right where we started from! Click pictures and
admire the beauty before driving down to Nubra Valley. It is an enticing old
caravan route at the confluence of Shyok and Nubra rivers. Arrive at the
resort, freshen up and proceed to Diskit, Nubra’s capital. It is a small
charming town famous for being home to Diskit Gompa that we will visit. The
Deskit/ Diskit Gompa is the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery (gompa) in
the Nubra Valley and provides a breathtaking view of the valley. After the
visit, further drive to Hunder to see the cold desert and the world famous
two hu**ed camels. Enjoy a unique camel ride (on your own cost). After a
super exciting time, it is time for some rest. We get back to the Tents in
late afternoon and relax. Take leisurely strolls in the evening, have dinner
and retire for a relaxed sleep.

Day 4: Nubra to Leh
Enjoy a beautiful morning in the Tents, charge yourself with morning
breakfast and create lifetime memories. Today, drive back to Leh driving on
the same route crossing the Khardung La (pass) once again. Arrive at Leh
around afternoon and check in at hotel. You can go for some shopping in
nearby local markets or just relax. Have dinner and go for a relaxed sleep
to recharge yourself for the upcoming day.

Day 5: Leh - Pangong Lake (130 kms / 5 hrs)
Have an early breakfast today morning and set out for journey to the famous
Pangong Lake via Chang La. The drive is truly mesmerising with breathtaking
sceneries. Situated along India / China border, Pangong Lake is an utter
delight to eyes with its various water colours seen at a stretch. It is the
highest salt-water lake in the world with a height of 4267 metres, 130 kms
long and about 6 kms wide. Arrive at the resort, freshen up and get ready to
have an ethereal experience here. The perfectly clear environment with
beautiful sky and surrounding hills add to the magnificence. After exploring
some nearby places, get back to the Tents in late evening and relax. Later
have dinner and retire for a relaxed sleep.
Stay overnight in Swiss Tents of Pangong. (B + L + D)
Day 6: Pangong to Leh
Enjoy a beautiful morning in the Tents, charge yourself with morning
breakfast and later drive back to Leh. Check in to the hotel & relax. Later
in the evening have dinner, spend some more time with nature and enjoy the
crystal clear sky views with glittering stars at night.

Day 7: Return Home with Lifetime Memories
Don’t be sinful to sleep till late. This is the last day in the beautiful
abode to breathe in and see as much as you can. Bid bye to the wonderful
destination and lovely locals. Take a fill at breakfast and catch your
transfer to the airport for your return flight. We would love to hear your
