Garchumuk tour from Howrah District, west Bengal, india,,,
★The tourist center was built on 108 acres of land at the junction of Hooghly River and Damodar in the seventies.
Howrah District Council is in charge of the care. The tourist center has a deer project and a mini zoo. There are several guest houses. People come to this tourist center for holidays all the year round.

By local train from Howrah station to Uluberia, it is only 15 km on average by auto or trekker.
45 minutes drive from Howrah to Uluberia. It will take about 2 hours to reach Garhchumuk Atanna Gate bus stop 60 km from Dharmatala.
Drive along Mumbai Road to Uluberia and go through the city to Garhchumuk Tourist Center.
When will you go
You can go any time of the year, but it can be a great travel destination in winter and rainy season.

হুগলি নদী ও দামোদরের সংযোগস্থলে সাতের দশকে ১০৬ একর জমিতে তৈরি হয়েছিল এই পর্যটনকেন্দ্র।
দেখভালের দায়িত্বে রয়েছে হাওড়া জেলা পরিষদ। এই পর্যটনকেন্দ্রে রয়েছে হরিন প্রকল্প ও তৈরি হয়েছে মিনি চিড়িয়াখানা। আছে বেশ কয়েকটি গেস্ট হাউস। সারাবছর মানুষ ছুটি কাটানোর জন্য চলে আসে এই পর্যটন কেন্দ্রে,,,,
যাতায়াত,,,
হাওড়া স্টেশন থেকে উলুবেড়িয়া যাওয়ার লোকাল ট্রেনে এসে অটো বা ট্রেকারে গড়চুমুক মাত্র ১৫ কিলোমিটার।
হাওড়া থেকে উলুবেড়িয়া ৪৫ মিনিট পথ। ধর্মতলা থেকে গড়চুমুক আটান্ন গেট বাসস্টপ ৬০ কিলোমিটার পথ পৌঁছাতে সময় লাগবে প্রায় ২ ঘন্টা মত।
মুম্বাই রোড় ধরে গাড়ি চালিয়ে উলুবেড়িয়া এসে শহরের ভিতরে মধ্যে দিয়ে গড়চুমুক পর্যটনকেন্দ্রে,,,,
কখন যাবেন,,,
বছরের যখন খুশি যেতে পারেন,, তবে শীত ও বর্ষাতে খুব ভালো ভ্রমণ কেন্দ্র হয়ে উঠতে পারে,,,
