The Subarnarekha river follows you most of the way, and Casaurina trees line the roads at every turn.

If the hundred odd kilometers of the drive do not satiate, you can zig-zag your way down the coast stopping at forgotten but delightful beaches like Talsari, Kashafal, and the estuary formed by the Subarnarekha where it enters Orissa.
