!! HIMALAYAN PHOTOGRAPY TOUR !!
Good morning Everyone,
It's my pleasure to announce the most fav tour in the birding community. This particular itinerary not only offers to witness the scenic landscapes but also many beautiful birds in the best possible habitat.
Itinerary:- 7N/8D [Chopta+Mandal+ Ranikhet+Sattal ]
Pick-up & Drop :- Dehradun airport to Dehradun airport or Kathgodam railway station.
Dates - 06 Dec - 13 Dec

Day 1st:-
Pick-up from Dehradun airport to mandal (Chopta). Plan to reach by 11 am at deharadun.
[270Km/8-9Hr].
Overnight at the mandal hotel.
Day 2nd:-
Morning session at the herbal farm area.
[Scarlet finch, Pink browed rosefinch, Spot winged rosefinch, Rufous breasted accentor, Rock bunting etc.]
Back to the hotel for breakfast.
Post lunch we start birding nearby the mandal villages.
[Green tailed sunbird, Scimitar babblers, warblers, t**s etc.]
Overnight at the mandal hotel.
Day 3rd:-
By sharp 05:30am transfer to chopta with En-route birding plan & packed breakfast.
[26Km/50mint].
[Koklass pheasant, Hill partridge, Himalayan woodpecker, Rufous bellied woodpecker, scaly bellied woodpecker, Mistle thrush, Speckled wood pigeon etc.]
Post lunch birding nearby the bhulkan area.
[Himalayan monal, himalayan tahr, alpine accentor, t**s etc].
Overnight at mandal hotel
Day 4th:-
By morning 04:30am we start the tungnath track with a packed breakfast.
Tungnath:- 12070 ft
At an altitude of 12070 ft, Tungnath(3680m), is the one of the highest Shiva temples located at the second highest altitude in the world which lies in India, after Muktinath(3710m), Nepal which is the first highest altitude Shiva temple in the world. Tungnath is the Tritiya Kedar of the Panch Kedar in the Himalayas.
Target species [Himalayan monal, Snow partridge, Himalayan griffon, bearded vulture & other small birds].
Back to the chopta hotel from tungnath track till lunch time.
Lunch at the hotel.
Post lunch birding at dugalbitta, makku-farm, shyari village & kakdagaad area.
[Finches, Thrushes, Collared owlet, Tawny-fish owl, yellow rumped honey guide & other small birds etc].
