KERALA HOLIDAY PACKAGE : 4 Nights / 5 Days
DESTINATION: COCHIN – MUNNAR – THEKKADY – ALLEPPEY HOUSEBOAT - COCHIN
Day 01: Cochin-Munnar (140 Km/4.30 Hrs)
You are greeted on arrival at Kochi International Airport/Railway station by our representative and thereafter transfer to Munnar. Enroute visit Cheyyappara Waterfalls. On the way to Munnar you can see tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the area covered by Tata tea. On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure and on activities. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 02: Munnar sightseeing
Morning sightseeing in Munnar which includes Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you may see Nelagiri Thar (wild mountain goats), Mattupetty Dam, Eco-Point etc. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 03: Munnar –Thekkady (1100Km/4 Hrs)
Morning proceed to Thekkady. On arrival, check into the Resort/Hotel. After boating (optional) at Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary, visit spice plantation like cardamom, Pepper, Coffee, and tea estate etc… On way back to hotel you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Other activities you can do at Thekkady are Elephant Ride, Kadakali Show, Martial Art Show, Ayurvedic Massage, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking Etc. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 4: Thekkady – Alleppey (190 Km / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from Thekkady and drive to Alleppey which has a panoramic backwater stretches, lush paddy fields, highlands. On arrival check into a Traditional Houseboat of Kerala Style and cruise through the backwaters is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of backwaters. Enjoy the magic by going on a Houseboat (Kettuvallam) cruise across the backwaters. Spend the next 21 hours in your floating villa. Enjoy the backwater tour of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life at close quarters, a unique and unforgettable experience. Enjoy the sunset & stay overnight on the houseboat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 05: Alleppey - Cochin (100 KM/ 2 Hrs) Departure
Check out time from houseboat is 9am. After breakfast check out and drive to Cochin. Cochin (Kochi) is known as the Queen of Arabian Sea. Sightseeing at Cochin includes visit to Dutch palace, Jews Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets etc. Late evening you will b e transferred to Cochin Airport/Railway station for your onward journey.
