Every note carries emotion, every word reflects life’s quiet truths.

Standing calm in Kings Landing …

The Skyline and waterfront at Belgrade.
I wasn’t prepared for this when I first arrived in the capital city of Serbia.
The iconic Belgrade Waterfront skyline with the striking The St. Regis Belgrade tower rising like a glass goblet against a dramatic sky. The curves of the building contrast beautifully with the soft chaos of the clouds, while the promenade along the Sava River adds depth and calm movement. That blue butterfly sculpture in the foreground adds a playful, almost poetic counterpoint to the architecture.
Standing by the Sava River, I found several other bold elements around. I liked the walk along this waterfront - quiet, calm and unhurried.
Nothing extraordinary but it felt special being there by the river.

A year between Ugadis- shaped more by instinct 😜 Between Sri Viswavasu and Sri Parābhava Nâma Samvatsaram, I chose experiences - not perfect, created plans that’s completely mine.
Miles across countries, continents I found stories and a quieter strength within.

My stats -
Only when we mark the destinations that we visited we know latitude and the longitude of the pin. 📍
Few places like Amb Andaura and Swarnagiri I had to add
Overall it’s quite good that we have apps tailored to make the statistics of ‘year of travel’
In 2025 I managed to visit USA 🇺🇸 after holding the B1/B2 for almost a decade.
Munnar has been on my bucket list for about two decades and it was a week well spent. Monsoon and tea gardens-it was perfect, much beyond my imagination. Wish to go back soon:)
Warsaw has a special place in my heart among the European cities that I have visited. It’s different and my kind of place. More revelations in posts coming up here.

I feel blessed that I could visit Varanasi and have darshan of Kasi Viswanath ji and Maa gangè for the eighth time.
New York was on my favourite list since childhood . Tokyo city being the other and I hope to tick off this year in 2026.
Visiting Niagara Falls in New York State was part of my itinerary and going via Buffalo meant I could do a lot more of that trip. Since the ice was frozen I couldn’t do the rides and explore in detail but nevertheless grateful for all the moments.
